Travelling by rail and bus

York's major railway station has trains running direct from Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham.

​

A shuttle bus will be running from Memorial Gardens bus stop (near the train station) to the racecourse (300 yds from entrance) - from 9am every hour.

Returning to the station on the half hour, last bus at 3.30pm
